Sasha Court

Sasha got involved with Light The Night last year, after her daughter Kaia, at just 2 and a half, was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma and underwent an aggressive but effective 6 months of chemotherapy.

During this time, Sasha was introduced to the suffering cancer brings to the lives of the innocent and has since been driven to help in any way she can.

Sasha’s first Light the Night was in 2018 where she put a small team together and raised over $6000. It felt great to help fundraise in that way but she knew she wanted to do more and so when she was asked to join as 2019 Corporate Walk Chair, it was a no brainer for her!

She loves being able to harness the collaborative energy of the executive team with hopes of making this year’s Light the Night walk in Halifax the most successful yet!

Sasha is a Brand Strategy manager at Dash Hudson, a SaaS company that offers a visual marketing platform for Instagram. She works with her young team of account executives by working through and strategizing on client accounts.

Sasha is a certified coach practitioner and works with individuals to help them find their authentic voice and power to lead them to a life of purpose and meaning.

Outside of her professional life Sasha is a wife to her husband, Raymond, and a mom to her now very healthy and spirited 4 year old daughter.

Sasha would like to take this opportunity to give a big thank you to everyone who participates in and contributes to Light the Night and to the research teams and causes its supports! The event will always hold a special place in her heart.
