Rahim Esmail was the light of our family; he was the light and love for so many of us and our commitment to honour his legacy strengthens everyday.
Rahim will always be remembered as an exceptional father; loving husband; beloved son; loyal brother and an unconditional friend. Everyone who’s life Rahim touched instantly felt loved and forever supported by him.
In December 2019, Rahim was diagnosed with a very rare and very aggressive form of cancer. He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s T-Cell Lymphoma with HLH (an autoimmune disease). From the very beginning of Rahim’s journey, he displayed positivity, strength, and determination; he showed endless motivation to conquer his battle with Lymphoma and be able to continue his beautiful life with his beloved family and friends. Sadly, our Rahim lost his battle to Lymphoma after just 9 short months after his diagnosis. We are so proud to share that Rahim spent every single day during his last 9 months with a smile on his beautiful face; never giving up; always staying positive and never regretting anything. He fought hard and endured 8 rounds of very aggressive chemotherapy. Throughout his treatment, he always celebrated his milestones of completing each cycle; always looking forward; always brave and always ready.
Rahim’s journey was inspiring; we will forever be motivated by his bravery and commitment to life. We promise to always honour Rahim’s life, his endless love and his magnificent legacy. He is remembered, loved and missed every single day.
