Hi my name is Chris.
I was recently diagnosed in April 2019 with stage 2 hodgkins lymphoma, after months and months of feeling this lump under my arm that I brushed off.
I made 2 trips to ER and family doctor to find out they can't palpate any lump. Nothing's wrong.
Thankfully my wife is a nurse and works with specialists she had me go in. Dr. Leblanc at the HGH sent me for an u/s that Lead to CT scan, then needle biopsy and surgery to then confirm the early diagnosis.
With 6 months of chemotherapy (12 treatments total) and still working everyday, I'm almost done and fingers crossed for a clear PET scan.
I'm walking this year to end all blood cancers. Cancer sucks.
Do you have a story to tell?
