Canadian Blood Services

Our Canadian Blood Services team was first inspired to join Light the Night a couple years ago after having some survivors and LLSC staff visit our blood donor clinic in Halifax.

We’ve established a wonderful partnership with the LLSC that has helped raise awareness for Light the Night, as well as assist us in campaigning about the importance of blood donations. Each of our organizations is strong on its own, but together we make a powerful statement about how our causes go hand in hand.

Many of our staff have both personal and professional relationships with people who have been affected by leukemia and lymphoma. Light the Night brings all of this full circle and is an event filled with hope, support, and love.

It is a cause our employees are very passionate about; we get to experience how the work we do on a daily basis directly impacts our community in a profound way. To come together as a group to remember those who have passed, while also giving hope to those who are fighting, is very humbling and reminds us of the importance of what we do.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the LLSC and celebrating future Light the Night events.
